Sing the Liturgy

Fr.Mark Kirby of Vultus Christi blog points out what I perceive is a pressing liturgical problem: that of singing in the Liturgy and NOT SINGING THE LITURGY. For a long time, we have been substituting inferior songs for the ACTUAL LITURGICAL TEXTS of the Proper of the Mass. The coming of the new translation must be a challenge to put into music the actual text of the Proper of the Mass. We should rid the Liturgy of the "termites of the Church."
